Notes from DDN Campus: You are correct, the data will be stored at the state. However, unless you’re looking at 20 point of sale machines, you’re not going to need a server in your district. If Campus did go down, you would need to resort to an emergency method for a period of time. I’ll prepare two estimates for you based on 420 students, (which is what I am showing currently from the state) one point of sale for both the machine route and laptop route. I will not include the cash drawer option for the IBM machine, but if you decide you need one, I can give you information on that if necessary. ~Sean Forster
